About Mikayla

Born in Juneau and raised in “the valley,” Mikayla is as local as it gets. As a member of one of the only graduating classes of Thunder Mountain High School, she carries a deep connection to the community that shaped her.
Mikayla entered the real estate industry in 2018 as an Escrow Assistant and quickly advanced to Escrow Closer with Alaska Escrow & Title. Her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and natural ability to guide clients through complex transactions propelled her forward. She later expanded her experience to Washington state, where she contributed to a nationally recognized Top 10% closing team—an achievement that reflects both her technical skill and her commitment to exceptional service.
Despite her success in the Pacific Northwest, Mikayla’s heart remained firmly rooted in Alaska. In 2022, she made the intentional decision to return home to Juneau, knowing it was the ideal place to raise her growing family. Since returning, she has welcomed a second daughter, further strengthening her dedication to building a meaningful life in the community she loves.
Rejoining the First Bank family, Mikayla seamlessly stepped back into the rhythm of Alaskan life. Her commitment to service extends far beyond her professional role. She is deeply engaged in community leadership, serving as the Affiliate Director on the Southeast Board of Realtors, where she helps strengthen relationships between industry partners and supports the growth of the regional real estate community. She also serves as a Director on the JAMM (Juneau Alaska Music Matters) Board, contributing her time and perspective to an organization that enriches the lives of local youth through music education.
Mikayla remains active in many facets of Juneau life—attending school board meetings, participating in the local Filipino community, and volunteering at her daughters’ school.
When she’s not assisting clients or serving on community boards, you’ll likely find her enjoying one of her many favorite local restaurants or spending quality time with her family.
